The 2003 Circle of Excellence Film Festival Archie Awards

"The Shortest Day" The 4th film from Writer Director Jack Venturo and Moviegod Productions Entertainment was the most nominated and most awarded movie at the 2003 Circle of Excellence Film Festival Archie Awards.

 

The Awards Ceremony included both Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and was held at the Colony Theatre in Burbank California on Friday September 5th 2003

"The Shortest Day" was nominated for four Archie Awards, which it won three of including:

  • Best Screenplay - Jack Venturo
  • Best Actor - Chris Pagano
  • Best Director - Jack Venturo

"The Shortest Day" did not win Best Picture of the year but it was awarded a special Archie Award:

  • 1st Runner-up Best Picture
