Dan Cook

"Actor / Trailer Voice over"


Dan Cook was originally born in Texas, before beginning his acting career. Dan had very extensive training on various techniques from cold reading to on camera film & commercial training as well as voice over workshops.

Dan is a member of The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).

He is experienced in TV commercials, industrial and music videos, his theatre credits include The Head Angel in "The Glory and The Fire", Percy in "I Heard Shots", and Doc Baugh in "Cat On a Hot Tin Roof".

Dan has also had the success in feature length films in supporting roles in films including, "Tortured Intellectuals"," A Hand of Mercy", "South of Heaven", "Newton Boys", "The Only Thrill", "Prithvi", "Finding McKinney", "Connect 5", "The Dark Dancer", "Material Witness", and "Tin Cup" in which he was a film double for PGA Golfer Jerry Pate.

Writer/Director Jack Venturo met Dan Cook in September 2001 and approached him in regard to several projects, one of them was the voice over preview for the re-mastered Special Edition re-release of "Natural Born Stanley", "Stanley 2 - The Legacy" and "Lost in the Wilderness".

Currently Dan lives in Los Angeles, California and stays active in several projects.
